There’s a very fine line between passion and ego.
When hanging onto a view, advocating a view, persuading others to follow – is it passion or ego?
Differentiating these can be tricky and only YOU know the truth.
Are you doing it to win; to feed your ego; to prove you are right?
Or are you doing it because you believe and you want to share this with others and commit to the best practice option for you, for others and for the organisation?
Ask yourself these questions as you look into the mirror and bring consciousness to your choices – passion or feeding the ego?
Then, think deeper and ask yourself as a result of this passion or ego did you truly listen to others when they shared their views with the intent to really understand – or did your passion or ego get in the way?
