courgaeous leadership requires courageous conversationsThe past few months have seen us knuckle down to produce our quarterly (ish) e-newsletter. In the Courageous Leaders office we had been talking a lot about the idea of Courageous Leadership, so decided this would be the theme for the quarter.

As we drilled down to what this means and the impact it has within organisations, we recognised that courage in leadership is important for three key things:

1. Growth – Organisations are always looking for growth and sometimes the challenges are faced with fear and uncertainty. Courageous Leadership is required to make the right decisions at the right time and with the right intent.

2. Innovation – Innovation is critical for organisations to continue thriving and driving bottom line performance. The world is changing at an ever increasing rate and with globalisation this simply amps up the rate.

3. Conversations – For a team to be performing at their peak, the relationships between them must be honest, trusting, inspiring and engaging. This takes effort and time and is nurtured through conversations.

We’ve looked at each of these three areas in the articles this quarter. If you have already subscribed to our e-news, we hope you enjoy the read. If you haven’t, sign up here and a copy will be emailed to you.
